Sibylle Hampe

Art painter

Since my childhood, the world of art has been my creative retreat. Art was my main subject at school and my passion for painting and drawing has been with me ever since. Through numerous painting courses with various teachers, I have been able to constantly expand my skills and learn new techniques.

For over 13 years I have been part of a painting school for contemporary painting, where I regularly work on new projects together with other artists. A few times a year we present our work in exhibitions at different venues - a great opportunity to exchange ideas and see our own work in a wider context.

Travel is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. Whether drawing on location or through the lens of my camera - the impressions I gather on my travels often flow into my pictures and enrich my creative process.
